Cannot upload a profile picture to My Second Life via the website, is this a known issue?

i have updated my billing info hours ago .. my credit card was approved and they charged my card the 1$ for updating but yet when i try to buy lindens i keep getting a billing error, saying they are unable to charge my card. i have twice made sure the correct info was entered. is there a problem with this service?
