Thank you for your replies , I have managed to do it with your help . I think the problem was the glass seems to go into the right hand by default and the animation I have is lefthanded and that's why it looped because I tried to get it to stay in the left hand Thank you:)

This is probably a really stupid question , but I can't find a tutorial for doing this. I can set up animations , add a prop, arrange the menu , all using avsitter or MPS. but try as I might , I can not give my avatar an item to use , such as a drink, in fact the glass keeps looping, .Can someone point me in the direction of a tutorial. ? Please
