PROJECT TYPE - Photos for Children’s BOOK SYNOPSIS - Hidden-Folk Story, with adult themed, everyday issues hidden within to help understand human life in all its many wobbles, and struggles. The story is built around the writer's real-life five year old nephew, and based on where he really lives, (a small island in the Salish Sea,) off the North West Coast of Washington State, US CASTING DATES - February 1, 2024 through March 17, 2024 PRODUCTION LOCATION - In World - Second Life - Timing always discussed in SLT. ART MEDIUM - Real Life Book, approximately 70k words, publication, Late 2025. CHARACTER BACKGROUND: Bærwan - Ancient, age unknown, mostly shows as a true light being. Represents the depth and power of the Divine Feminine. Embodies the pure feminine aspect of self that nourishes the seed of the soul. One of the original Tuatha dé (pronounced ‘To-ah dae’) The Tuatha Dé Danann, also known by the earlier name Tuath Dé, are a supernatural race in Irish mythology. Seems mostly emotionless, but has genuine real compassion for mortals. Ængus - Male, Elderly Gnome, dark olive skin, smaller, wise, powerful in his ability to make complex things understood in a simple straightforward manner. However, he struggles with the reasons behind keeping the hidden world always hidden. Fæ Amelia - Female, Central Fæ (Elven) Figure, young, fun but obnoxious, wise for her years. Has overcome and understood life through the daily struggles of living as a neurodiverse. Which can be a mindset characterized by autistic or other neurologically atypical patterns of thought or behavior. "Neurodiverse individuals can often assume that their experience of the world is either the only one, or the only correct one, and confused by the discrepancies experienced within a world built on neurotypical and confusing two faced constructs." Riparian - Male, Central character, larger than others, strong and sensitive, younger, mixed race of Icelandic Huldufólk (hidden folk) father he never knew, and a French Lutin (elf/gnome) mother who died in his early formative years, with vitiligo skin. Vitiligo is believed to be an autoimmune condition where the pigment (color) in certain areas of the skin begins to disappear. Sometimes, vitiligo may also be triggered by external events like physical or emotional stress. This character has survived trauma. SUBMISSION DEADLINES - Submission due MARCH 17, 2024. Your experienced ability to edit your shape slightly can help, however, the writer/artist would prefer to photograph the individuals structure as they prefer to be seen. Your personality is most important, and we are looking for those that can be on time, every time, and ready to work. That being said, the actual work will be short duration, perhaps an hour of your time. A short paragraph on why you would like to be considered may also be helpful, but not mandatory.
