Hey there! I'm looking for a versatile DJ for a one off gig (and possibly that I could contact for future events I plan in the community) The event is a street fair in a mainland community for a number of individuals who live there. There may be child avatars present, and I'd like the following things to be kept in mind: Not interested in explicit/overly sexualized people Must be prepared to take requests, that would be ideal The people there tend to listen to a lot of country, but I'd be just fine with a healthy mix of what's popular today, and country thrown in. I'd be willing to pay a small DJ fee on top of 100% tips for the event, and it is negotiable, please feel free to send me an IM in world if you're interested. I have decided to give it a go! I have thought about doing this for a long time, and just thought...well if I never do it I'll never do it, right? I learned how to make makeup specifically for lelutka EvoX heads, and am just having fun. Right now my stuff is strictly on the MP, but I'm actually looking for advice on how to actively move it in world. Things like: Do you have any suggestions on WHERE is a good place to look for starter stores that might not cost a ton to rent at first? What about advertising? Are there groups I should be in? Or websites? I'm also curious about maybe participating in an event, or sale thing that comes out every week. Do they all cost money to be involved in? Are there any that might be more newbie friendly? Honestly I'm just curious in general ,and any and all advice from more seasoned creators would be GREAT!
