she received an answer in the application something like "account and any alternate Second Life accounts are now permanently unavailable." So I'm wondering if it's safe to create a new one without fear for the past?

My friend got a hold on her account. Can she create a new avatar and start a new life? And I can help her with these donations for a new look.
