  1. Digital allow us to own and wear everything we can't in RL and that's the beauty of it in my opinion. Iris Van Herpen is ART! Love Issey as well. From everything I read here I'm sure that the best research of the niche market in SL is to put things out, experiment and learn through the process. My fingers are crossed cuz I have a LOT of learning to do ahaha but also very happy to have found you all here ๐Ÿ’œ
  2. I'm glad you bring this up! I played SL years ago and I still have some friends that are creators here so I kinda followed their work and the market demand... the popular fashion is nothing I relate to and honestly I'm not interested in creating more of that style. That's exactly why I posted this here so I could have your insight of how 'unconventional' fashion would play here! BTW I'm loving the references here ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿงกโค๏ธ It will take me weeks to figure all out, specially to get the devkits and learning the riggings part, but step by step I'll get there! Also it is almost mandatory to have a Flickr right?
  3. I'm going to work with the more commonly bodies with the chest mods! It makes more sense to do that once the niche ones probably don't have the basics as you say. That's why is so important to ask you guys and study more about the market here. CZ Slim is amazing! I went to the store to get e better look of it and BUUUM I'm very excited to start working with it ๐Ÿฅณ Also I'm going to start with a mini collection, experiment a little and create a flickr so I can share the news with you all! Can't thank u guys enoughhhhh! Ur all amazing! Thank u ๐Ÿ’œ
  4. noteeeeed ๐Ÿ’œ it will take a while to start the store, specially because it's a lot to learn, but I'll get back to you! This kind of message really makes me motivated ๐Ÿ’œ
  5. noteeeeed ๐Ÿ’œ it will take a while to start the store, specially because it's a lot to learn, up but I'll get back to you! This kind of message really makes me motivated ๐Ÿ’œ
  6. This is AMAZING! Just visited the store and I'm in love ๐Ÿ’œ this is the exact aesthetic I love! Also the hairs are ๐Ÿ”ฅ From all the information I've received here I believe that working with the main bodies is the way to go but I'm definitely sticking to my aesthetic! Thank u
  7. Guys, thank you so much for all the information you're giving me! Amazing how I already feel part of this community ๐Ÿ’œ
  8. Okay I see what you mean. I guess I misspoke myself! When I say "unconventional" I'm refering to someone that likes an avantgard look, like someone that would mix something from Rick Owens and Acne together ahaha So there's space to be creative and explore the SL market
  9. That was a very sad lost for fashion and for art! Most fashion houses die when their creators do and that's why I love Yohji Yamamoto's position about not wanting the brand to continue when he goes! I reaaally appreciate all of these references! I'm definetely going in-world to check the stores and get back to you! Very excited about this, thank you for sharing ๐Ÿ’œ Do you think that even the most used bodies users would want or buy more unconventional fashion? I'm more inclined to work with gender neutral clothing with a taste of futurism, techwear, punk, sportswear and even a little vintage in the mix ahaha but I still have a lot of studying to do ๐Ÿคช
  10. I have noticed that those are the most used bodies currently. Eventhough I have played many, many years ago It is a bit overwhelming to keep up with all of this now! I'm asking about niche bodies because I thought that maybe those users would be more interested on unconventional fashion. Got more studying to do! It is definetly a lot of work to make clothing for SL so if I could make a little income out of it would be great! Luckily I mainly work with Blender. Would love to see your work ๐Ÿ’œ that unconventional fashion wouldn't have a place with the most famous bodies somehow!
  11. Thank you soooo much! i'm already looking at their Flickr group! Also love McQueen ๐Ÿ’œ I'm so glad to be reading this because I played SL back in 2007/2008 and every once in a while I came back just to check how things were going and always felt like unconventional fashion never had a place here. Definetily excited to work with that kinda of fashion and try to offer something different but inclusive at the same time! Thank you ๐Ÿ’œ
  12. Thank you so much If I may ask, what body do you use?
  13. Hello guys, first of all: HAPPY 2023 ๐Ÿฅณ I'm a 3D creator in RL and I'm looking forward to grow in different directions this year. I LOVE fashion, always have, and now I'm "studying" SL for a chance to create my own MP store. I believe there is a market gap for niche fashion specially for the 'not so famous' body stores. What niche bodies need more clothing? Would you be interested? A few of my personal references are Acne Studios, Ader Error, Ottolinger, Rombaut, Thom Browne, Rick Owens and many others... Ps: I never worked with clothing for SL but I'm here to learn new things Thank you for your time!
