  1. If you purchase premium membership, it comes with a small home with around 350 prims or so depending on the neighbourhood you choose. (If that's an option for you)

Otherwise, there are in game real estate companies and what not. A friend just rented land from one called AMEstate. The bigger the land and the more prims you rent, the higher the price is going to be, so it's really going to depend on what you're financially able to do.

If you're not able to do that, there are sandbox regions that you can rez your stuff, or you can hit me up in game. You're welcome to rez your stuff on my land til you find something you like 🙂

  2. You sound right up my alley with the gaming and anime~ I'd love to talk more and see if we mesh! You can reply here or in world if you'd like to hang out sometime^^

Personally, some of my favourite anime are Demon Slayer, SAO, Kaichou wa Maid-Sama, Special A, and Hotarubi no Mori e. But the list goes onnnnnnnnn

  3. Another thing to keep in mind that, now I'm not sure if it's this way with the Genus head, but it is with the LeLutka, there could be alpha layers to hide parts of the head that may be clipping through in strange places.

Yeah, those are the sorts of dialog that I'm constantly having.

I truly do talk to myself all the time, though as I've gotten older, not all of that dialog stays in my head.  My husband is constantly asking me what I said, just to have me respond with "Oh nothing, just talking to myself again".

hahaha people are forever asking me who I'm talking to or why I'm making strange noises at the most random / quietest moments for this precise reason.

  5. That was a properly interesting video to watch, thanks for sharing it^^

I couldn't imagine what it'd be like to not be constantly talking to myself in my head haha. I'm forever doing it.

    "I need to wash dishes."
"Ugh I don't want to wash dishes.
    "-sigh- just do it"
"Okay thirty minutes later... I'm lazy ... let's go do it now"
    "that's gross what is that"
"oh okay it's just a noodle"
"It's funny how waterlogged noodles get. Youd' think it would just .... stop"

  6. Welcome~ I can show you around a few places if you like, but you'll have to find someone else for the BDSM related stuff^^

Either way, welcome to Second Life! I hope you have a lovely time.

The weekend sales are a great time to pick up bargains. My favourite stores to pickup bargains from various weekly sales are Consignment/Floorplan, Fancy Décor, Black Nest, Fourth Wall & Nomad. For beds I love Wrong as they are often reasonable (under 10) Li with good design and animations

Thank youu! That's a great list :D I found a shop earlier with 5L purchases for their discounted items. i'm hoping to start getting better things once I get paid but for decorations, there's been a ton of cute things for really cheap. I'll check these places out^^

It's a good idea to explore and navigate around sim's with similar themes you are looking for and seeing where they shop. If you see an item you like or even if you just like the style of the item, just right click and click edit and it will tell you who the creator is. From there you can click their profile to see if they have a store. Usually they'll have a TP to their store or link to MP store somewhere in their profile.

Ohh I didn't realize that, thank you! I know a few places with things that I like, then. I'll have to see where they got them from!

I don't generally furniture shop a lot, but I do tend to pay Muniick a visit every weekend to get whatever they're offering for the weekend sales. That's probably your best bet in terms of saving money; keep your eyes peeled on the weekend sales (there are a lot of them, plus some mid-week ones). You can browse most of them on Seraphim.

Okay, thank you! I'll check the place out now.

  9. Alright, so after purchasing Premium today and getting my lovely new home set up I realized that I have a serious lack of knowledge for furniture shop locations. I'm hoping to gather some suggestions. I'm mostly looking for cottagecore / fantasy magic-esque type of vibes. Would also prefer a few shops with groups that offer gifts or cheaper options, as well, so I can decorate and slowly upgrade my items instead of having an empty home (if this is even an option haha...)

Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this, but I wasn't sure where else to put the thread. Thanks in advance^^

It comes in a version for lelutka Evo. As @Maitimomentioned, a skin designed for one head won't fit right on another head.  This is the one made for Evo.

That's amazing, thank you very much! I must have just downloaded the wrong one. I didn't realize they wouldn't work together. Still trying to learn everything haha

@Yasmin Bilavio the OP has a Lelutka head so she won't have a Catwa hud to play with.

@SilizArts You are wearing a skin made for Catwa heads, but your head is Lelutka. They are not compatible.  Lelutka heads have different mapping around the lips, well inside the border of the regular SL UV map, so a skin or lipstick made for a Catwa head will extend past the border of your Lelutka lips.

The only solution to this is to switch to a skin made for Lelutka heads.

That makes a lot of sense, thank you. I'll try to find a similar skin, then^^

Wondering how to get rid of this strange line that's appearing on my avatar's skin.

I'm wearing a LeLutka Irina head and a Catwa Nuve Crystal skin. I've tried playing around in the HUD with different features but it doesn't seem to remove or lesson it.

    Any help would be appreciated^^

  13. If you're okay with some passive income for just greeting guests or generating traffic in an area, you could try this out http://jobs.goldtokens.net/

There's a HUD you need to get for free on the marketplace that's linked in the job site. The better jobs pay 8L / 15 mins of being in an area. From what I've seen, most have an anti AFK feature where you have to answer what colour the job screen turned within a minute, or you get kicked from the job. That seems to pop up every 5 minutes or so, roughly. It's decent income for just sitting in an area if you're watching tv or playing around on your phone.
