Yes, Tasmanian here. I used to have a lot of other Australian friends in SL but most have left now, I still come across a few. You'd probably have to be specific about your interests for anyone to help you with hangout spots. Personally, I hang out on my work platform so that isn't useful.

G'day, Kia Ora, Hello!
                           Crikey how does one talk about themselves with out tripping over there own boots?.  New account had for over a lil bit of a month but Also have another account that is 7 years old ( May be old But I made it and was so overwhelmed I logged out and never returned until recently) I love roleplaying but am currently finding it a tad awkward to get in too, Comes back to tripping over boots I guess.  I reside in New Zealand, I love Heavy metal (fav band is Motley Crue) Got back in to Second life  trying to make things fun for some one I considered important enough to make the effort, Seems that was short lived Friendship sadly.

I also like to Play games, a large selection actually when I not on SL. Interested in friendships.
