    What's up with the feral scene?

    Hi, just wondering if anyone knows of any creators specializing in feral animations/furniture/interactions/huds and quad-biped interaction items? I have a friend who is a dog and, as a human avi, I can't interact with him much. I'd like to be able to pat him and give him back rubs/belly rubs and stuff. I'm also creating a muffins milkers farm, and I'd like him to be able to use the stalls for it and what not. Sadly, he can't seem to use much of anything with me and it's bumming me out. I'm seriously considering learning animation creation just so that I can interact with feral avatars, but that's a big project and will take a lot of time to do (and no guarantee I'll even figure it out).

    I find it kinda crazy that, when I look up head patting systems and what not, it's generally for human-type avis. Like dude, I just want to be able to pat a literal dog avatar lol or whatever animal. Anyway, sorry for the rant. Any suggestions for where to look would be extremely helpful. TIA!

    Exploring MyStory Gameplay & highlights

    Hi, I'm sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong place. Just starting to make SL videos and wanted to share my MyStory highlight video. Its really rough and some parts aren't edited too well, but I'm just starting to learn camera tricks and editing, etc.

     

    Any insights or tips to help me improve, im all ears. You guys and gals do some great work here. Anyways, TIA!

    Hey guys, 

    Thanks for the good insights I got the last time I posted. While I tried to make this video shorter, it was still over 4 min. But I did cut out a lot of talking time in this one and showed more of the MyStory main store and a few places to eat at that cater to MyStory. I guess I'd just like some feedback on this one. I totally messed up a few areas with the music because it was copyrighted, and I had to rework with a YouTube song. I'm still trying to figure out the basic theme, tone of the channel. But it gives me something fun to do in SL, so there's that. 

    Anyway, thanks for reading if you've come this far!

    OK I did got look. The MAXIMUM for "films" at UWA was four minutes and thirty seconds. Yours happily isn't three hours (yes there actually are those vlogs). BUT after filming then EDIT and make it shorter --- just the best parts.

     

    Along the way turn off the interface --- get closer to your avatar -- watch some other vlogs to see what the "great ones" are doing.   I don't actually watch vlogs but was very active in machinima for about a decade.   Practice helps for sure.

    Most of all ENJOY THE PROCESS.     

    Thank you for the helpful response! And pointing me towards UWA, wow, that'll help develop strategies for sure. Shortening/more edit, and probably more action, less talk, and less interface is a good way to go

    Hi 👋, just dropping a link to an sl vlog I'm trying to create. The videos are pretty slow and boring, but I'm trying to get a bearing on video techniques and editing and stuff. 

    Anyone have any insights on how I can improve? I've got an idea to do a few MyStory themed vids, visit a few stores and cook, maybe other rp things, show some more of my city build I guess. 

    I'm not great at building or anything, but I've got some themes rolling around in my head. Thanks for any input! TC

    Hello :) I'm jeni wolf in world and created my account around May of last year I think.  Met some nice people so far and enjoying the time chatting, decorating different themed homes, buying/selling land over and over.  I started playing Muffins Milkers half a year ago, built my own farm which wasn't too successful but still fun/sexy to rp!  Also just started blood lines but not real into it unless I had some cool friends to rp with ;).  Also pretty into Fish Hunt - boring but satisfying. 

    I have pretty hefty social anxiety in rl, so sl has been my social outlet lately.  Hoping to take the meaningful moments in here and bring that feeling into the real.  If anyone is interested in the above mentioned rp games and would like a buddy to play them, don't hesitate to reach out!! Take care

    Great little parcel newly up for sale at $1,500L.  The parcel is snow land, 512 m, 175 land capacity.  It's a little quiet neighborhood in Disl, anyone I have met on the nearby road has been kind/respectful, Moderate content and covenant free. I've landscaped a little bit with an ice platform and there is a Primrose home  set on the ice block for you to keep if you'd like - items set to use. Cute and comfy getaway.     PS, there is another plot directly adjacent to this one that is also for sale at 7000L by another user that you could purchase as well and make a pretty big area for yourself. Just a thought for anyone looking for a little more land.
