  1. There are literally hundreds and hundreds of SL based groups on Flickr. If I were to join more groups other than the official one by LL, which would be the good ones to go for? Any recommendations?

  2. There are a few stores offering group gifts with free group join.

Wow Skins group is not a free join but they do have lucky boards that are no group needed: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Longwood/79/160/29

They also have free skins in the same room with specific group tag activated. You can find the group join signs above the specific gifts. And if you look in another corner, there are a couple more free skins you can pick up.

I do like Not Found also.  The heads they are made for, although Catwa, are usually pictured with Stanley or Gac so they would look a bit different with Victor.  Especially if you use the shape provided.  I'm not sure if he even specifies which head the vendor pics are using which he should.

That can be annoying. I have learned long ago that not all skins are created equal or even one-size-fits-all. I am grateful that demos are a thing.

  4. Not Found has some skins for Catwa. The store name may be a bit hard to find in search, so search for the creator, Julio Voxel.

I agree with Rowan on avoiding Aesthetic. There are hardly any skins made for it and good clothes are hard to come by for it. You'd be better off with Gianni.

  5. Option 1: Got demo? Yep, it's always good to try before you buy. They say it fits Maitreya sized clothes and shoes, so I suggest you pick up demos for clothes that looks appealing and try them out with the body.

Option 2: Got demo? Yes, ok, good. They say it can fit Slink sized shoes,  but no word on what clothes it will fit. Better pick up some clothing demos to see how they'll work with the demo body.

Option 3: Got demo? No. No? L$1,250 is a huge chuck of change to gamble on the possibility of you even liking the head. Remember this mantra, "No demo, no buy." I would skip this one and look for other brands that do offer demos for their heads. Such stores are Catwa, Lelutka, Slink, Logo, Akeruka, and GA.EG.
