    Second Life is home to some of the best Digital Artists of our time, and you can see their work scattered throughout the many Art Galleries and Exhibits across the grid. Here is a small selection of galleries that you can explore this weekend; find even more in the Art category on the Destination Guide. 
    Artsville, a collaborative effort between ValiumSL and Art Korner, is one of the newest galleries on this list and already has many exhibits featuring all forms of art.

    Artsville is a thriving community of photographers and artists who take inspiration from each other's work to grow together. Events include: 2D art exhibitions, Immersive 3D art installations, Photography workshops, Photo Contests, Poetry Readings, and fun parties. Artsville is a collaboration between Art Korner and ValiumSL. Artsville was built by Megan Prumier and is located on ValiumSL.

    The GBTH Project has been around for many years and boasts some of the most thought-provoking art by a number of talented artists. Colonia 2.0 is one of their exhibits that features 16 different artists and 3 of them spoke about their work on a new podcast from GBTH.

    The GBTH Project is an SL-based experimental arts space consisting of 8+ dedicated gallery spaces. To GBTH (Grab By The Horns) is to take courageous initiative in guiding the boundlessness of artistry, making the conceptual tangible. Here they facilitate artists and makers alike to actualize installation, photographic, sculptural, and community-based works. Everyone is welcome to visit and explore.     The weekend is officially here! Teleport to one of the many Amusement Parks in Second Life and ride a rollercoaster, crash at the bumper cars, or hit that water slide for some summertime fun!

    The Joyful region comprises three scenes to be explored. Scene one leads to an interactive carnival with rides, games, food, and fun. Bring your family or friends. Scene two, west of the park leads to a fantasy where you might find a secret passage. Scene three on the south end is sprawling greenery leading to the main house. Welcome to the Joyful region. Come often, stay as long as you like.

    Big Splash Adventure Oasis Water Park
    The Big Splash Adventure Oasis Water Park returns for its third year at the Bellisseria Fairgrounds from July 7th until August 6th. The park is featuring a brand new dance\party area with new slide designs, new lounge areas, and a limited-time custom passport stamp. There is also a revamped kids park for the little ones, along with a few other surprises you'll just have to come see for yourselves!

    The Lost Wonderland
    Magic exists within this abandoned theme park. Find the lost wonderland and get transported back to an era where arcades ruled the social scene.
