  1. So I recently got a pair of dragon wings that I wanted to mod the textures on. The creator included a link to the wing's texture that I was able to use to modify it. Using the texture and UV map I was able to easily modify the texture and guess where each part of the texture was going to end up. This was my first time modifying something this way and I'd really like to get into making more textures but I'm not sure on something. In cases where I don't have a UV map or texture for something that I want to modify is there a way to get these or a more reliable way to create a new texture without them? Also as a newbie to creating textures/mods for stuff so is there anything else I should know about the process that could help me? Thanks
  2. Thanks! I was hoping to find a guide I could use without having to pay, but thats still helpful if I can't find a free one, thanks!
  3. I'm not sure on the technical terms of all this so I just called it a sculpt to imply that I created it on my own using Zbrush so sorry if that means something else, I'll go edit it just in case. Here's a picture of it
  4. So I recently learned how to create a model using Zbrush and created a nice anthropomorphic dragon model that I'd like to use as an avatar in Second life. I looked around for tutorials on how to make an avatar from Zbrush/blender and found some ok info on the basics of it. However, I'm still not sure on how this all works. I know very little on creating avatars or items in general in second life and don't really know where to start. I'm mainly worried if I need to detach any of the parts (tail, horns, spikes etc.) or not and how to animate things like the tail and stuff. But I really need to know all the basics in general on how I can get this custom avatar from Zbrush to blender, what i need to do in blender to make it ready for Second life, and then into second life. Does anyone know how I can do this or know of some good tutorials on this or where I can get started and find information on this? I tried searching on my own but couldn't find much. Sorry if this is a stupid question, just very new to all this but I really want to learn. Thanks. Can show what the sculpt looks like if needed.
