I checked my privacy tab and this 'automatically accept new inventory options' wasn't checked so I checked it and will have my girl check hers too since we both use firestorm. unfortunately, I suspect by doing this we will also now get all the Advertising Note-cards that are sent to people too but maybe not, we shall see. Per your tests the default viewer may already have this option built in and that is why the items were put into your inventory and you couldn't find a switch to turn it off.

Hi Bitsy, Thanks for the reply. I did a transfer and not a gift because I wanted to modify the item just a tad first before I sent it. I use Firestorm with windows 10 and have never heard of Catznip but I think the idea of putting declined items in the trash is a Great Idea or at least having a check box to allow them to be place there is something Firestorm should add or at least look at doing in a upcoming edition. Time to check out Catznip....

Ya that's what I suspected. Really kind of blows. As the sender, IF a ITEM is sent and not just a note-card/advertisement then the sender should get some sort of reply message saying if the item was accepted or rejected so we know what happened to it. And if the item was rejected or the notification just closed out the item itself should be returned back to the senders inventory to resend or keep as the situation dictates. In a perfect SL world I guess. I am sure that 1000's or even millions of Lindens worth of merchandise have been lost this way over time. Thanks....

Hi people, This is my first post so I am not sure this is the Correct forum group for this but here goes. I recently Transferred some items I bought on Market place to my girlfriend when she wasn't online and she states she Never Got them. The items is question Were Transferable And I dragged the items to her IM box in the chat window What I suspect happened is this. When you log online to SL sometimes you will get a notification (S) box coming up. We all get them and sometimes we get so many of them that we just close the box or click no without thinking about it or really reading it because usually there just junk offers or other useless information. Unfortunately when you do a item transfer to a user or even sometimes if you buy something in world you will get this notification box just like the other ones you get. What Happens to these item Transfers or purchases if you accidentally close the notification box or click No on it without thinking about it. I bet we have all done this, I know i have. Are the items now Just GONE? Do items get Returned to us and put back in our inventory somewhere. And if so Where. I looked in my lost and found folder and there was Nothing there. Is there a way to pull the notification back up to now accept it or to resend it. It is very Frustrating to spend hundreds of Lindens or more on something and then go to transfer it and LOSE the item because the person you sent it to closed the notification box out without really seeing what the notification was about. WHAT HAPPENS TO THE ITEM ITSELF??? And Please don't say Well, you should have just bought it as a gift instead of trying to transfer it Because there may be times you want to add a script to the item first or change it around a little Before you actually give the item to the person in question.
