    Thank you for your lovely comment about my SL surname. I don’t really like it, so I’m going to change it later when I’ve decided on which membership to have. 🙂

  3. Hello, I’m considering returning to SL after a long time away. (U.K. here, btw) Which Membership would be best value please? (Basic, Premium or Premium Plus), since I would like to change my surname from Clawtooth to something better. Is there a charge for changing it?

    If you would like to immediately upgrade that account to Premium, then you can use Live Chat.  That is as close to "direct" contact as you can get.  You can currently buy a one month Premium for US $4.75 -- that is 50% off the usual monthly rate.  It might be worth that - not to mention that they sometimes try a little harder on things with their Premium account holders.

    I want to contact LL (Second Life) directly to see if they can help me successfully recover my basic/free account after re-activation. I've seen a Fax number but I'm not sure how to send one. I could send an email to them, but I'm not sure if sending a support request to Tech Support will help me. I can't phone as I'm in U.K. and my adult SL account is 10 years old. I can't start again with a new account. I'm told that all my inventory, etc is still on the LL servers.

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  6. Hello,

    I opened a case a few months ago to re-activate my 10 year old account (basic/free). My inventory was not present and to recover this it indicated I had to log into the region 'Debug1'  or 'Debug2'. It wouldn't allow me including a message "You do not have access to that teleport destination." I then tried to reopen the case, but it had closed and now I don't know what to do.

    Sent Rolig Loon a message with all the details and she said that all my inventory is still on the LL server. I also sent 2 support cases last week asking for assistance, but unfortunately there was no success. (I use the SL viewier which has been updated).

    I can't start over again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
