Thanks for those suggestions, appreciate it.Two of those I had never heard of, but I checked them out. I've found one I'm happy with for now at a store called iruco.

I haven't managed to find any realistic results through the SL Marketplace and the search in-world isn't helpful to me. The many that I have tried are either very outdated and don't look the best and/or they're stylized for women. Any suggestions for afro curls that are either unisex or meant for guys would be greatly appreciated.
