Just curious, why do new player have to more then 3 months old before they are not an alt of someone?

Hello, I'm a transplant from another.......virtual world. I am looking to try my hand at modeling or dancing, My avatar age is stopping me from finding employment at most places I see that are hiring males. I have tried to do my best on my avatar watching hours of youtube videos. If anyone out there could kindly IM me inworld if they know of any places, or have any advice on this subject: Male Models and Dancers in SL.
