I have SL on my desktop. When i double click it I get a pop up saying that SL has stopped working. "a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program." what do i do?

Right before i log in, I tried to get on Second life but it loads then it says that i have a problem. A incompatible program... second life is a incompatible program. It was working fine before cause i was able to get on, log in, and go places but now i can even get on. What do i do? thanks a lot
