[Cliff Texture not coming into focus]

I am using one of Skyes cliff textures on some large mesh prims, also by Skye.  I have used these combinations on several mainland sims with no issues.  I recently picked up some mainland property on Orwood sim and on this property this texture  will not come into sharp focus on many of the prims.  On some prims it seems fine.  I have waited and waited, and this is over several days.  Any ideas?

[Mountains?]

The highest "natural" Mountain in mainland SL is Mount Campion (365 Meters) followed by Mount Campanula (360 Meters).  Both of these mountains are part of Mount Campion National Forest in Heterocera.  While I don't know that these offer an Alpine type climbing experience, there are numerous trails, canyons, and caves to explore.  The park has over 100,000 sq meters of land, and is spread over six sims - it is open to the polite public.

There is a Mount Everest located in a private region that I believe is over 500 meters high (you can find it in search).  As someone mentioned before, because a region's base area is 255x255 meters to get to that height it is pretty distorted and weird looking.  They do have it landscaped to resemble what you would see on the real Mt. Everest.  The mountains around Campion are natural because the land around them rises over numerous mainland  sims in Northern Heterocera.

I have adjoining property on different sims.  For various reasons (sky platforms are one) I have prims that I walk on, plain ole regular prims.  If I cross a sim boundary walking on a prim I fall through, these are separate non-phantom prims on both sims and touching at the boundary (overlapping them does not help).   If I go really slow and carefully I usually make it across, but probably one out of three times I fall through.  Of course walking over a sim boundary on Linden land is no issue, but this is not possible on sky platforms.  I have tried multiple layers of prims and various other things but I cannot find a solution.    

Does anyone know of a fix or work around?

[Searching for avatars, confusion with names and keys]

Can any of you tell me how I can use this script llRequestUsername in-world?  I want to enter an avatar key or UUID and get a real useable name in response.  I found the script under Wiki, but what do I do with it?  Do I install it in a prim?  Then what?

People often leave me note cards to get on a wait list, or I receive payment or donation in SL Accounts page, or they rent from me and a certain name shows up in Casper Rent but their profile shows something different.  Then later when I go to search for them to communicate with them using the normal SL search tools, I can't find them, or 20 avatars have a similar name.

So my question is, can I search for Avatars using their key?  Or what is the best way to keep track of customers so that you can communicate with them, later?  The whole avatar name thing seems very confusing.  Any help is appreciated.

[Is Amazon Now a Threat to Second Life Itself?]

Parler, by its own admission, doesn't even try to moderate their content.  SL at least makes an effort to moderate content.  That is why Amazon pulled Parler's plug.

Does anyone know how to get to the Second Life Support web page?  I follow the links from Help/Support and I get the error "This site can’t be reached".

I don't think it's me, I tried using Google Chrome and Internet Explorer, my PC is the same as when it formerly worked.  Any ideas or another link?

I have public areas and rental homes and I have had similar problems.  I hate security orbs and ban lines.  One thing that seems to help is to set the land to only allow people over 18 and who have payment information on file.  It seems that a great many of the trouble makers do not meet these two requirements.  I finally gave in and started subdividing parcels around the rental homes and setting them to group only.

[Firestorm - "This parcel provides music from" - please make it stop!]

I am using Firestorm and almost every time I teleport or cross into a different parcel I get the message "This parcel provides music from", then I have to click Allow or Deny, then I have to choose always allow this domain, etc.  It is driving me crazy!  I don't care, let the freakin music play or block it, but stop asking me every time I move around!  I have checked the box in preferences; "allow audio streams to autoplay"  and it stills askes me the question every time.

Does anyone know how to make it stop asking?

[Anyone else notice that the old prim skirts are very flighty?]

I still have a lot of older non-mesh clothing and I noticed that the prim skirts all seem very flighty; they really fly around in the breeze at the slightest movement.  I never remember them being this way years ago and I just wondered if something had changed.  I have tried editing the settings in a few of them to calm them down but nothing seems to help.

[Caves on SL?]

Definitely go see Mount Campion Caves National Forest.  The caves are extensive and very natural and realistic. I am pretty sure it shows up in search.
