Judging by some of the responses (for which I am gratful you tried to help) I should have pointed out that with about 200 + items of footwear I am not going to edit 200+ shoebases. The other possibilitiy that many people have mentioned is altering hover height, this is not a great way of fixing the problem either for very many reasons and I am not considering this to be a valid solution either. The advice regarding using the Maitreya feet shape also works staighforwardly for some footwear but not for many others and so for me is not a complete solution. Please check out Marianne's post about the Blimey Shoe Base system is the best all around solution for me and I am grateful to her. I am grateful for any attempt to help from all of you. I really do think the majority of footwear creators in Second Life have been found badly wanting over this and in future when I demo shoes and boots if the problem exists then no sale. Thank you for this constructive advice. I have gone for the Blimey kit now but I will bear this in mind.

Thanks for your input but I have many, many affected items and messing with hover height messes up other things.

Thank you Marianne, this solution is perfect and very simple as the Z-Offsets become familiar once you experiment, the whole pack is free also. This really is a brilliant solution especially as even new bought shoes have the same problem. The creators here are being a bit lazy and this will affect their sales certainly from me. Further Information LeLutka head is Avalon v3.1 EvoX, Maitreya body is v5.3 and skin is all BoM. This problem occurs with all shoebases except the new one I was given from Utopia.

I have LeLutka head, Maitreya body and Skinnery skin and when I put the shoebase on for my shoes they make my feet white or black, ok in boots but crap in shoes. The owner of Utopia gave me an alternative base for the boots and said I should be able to edit all my others but with my shoe collection that would take forever?
