Sorry for reactivating an old thread, but it seems, that nothing changed during the 2 years : there is still a problem with writing a review on an item purchased as gift. Here is the story : 1. I was given a gift via MP ! My sister bought in item, using "Add to cart as gift" option. It worked - no problem. Item was received by me - no problem. 2. Next day my sis tried to write a review on the item. She opened her Order History : the product sent as gift was there allright. BUT NO "REVIEW PRODUCT" LINK ! OK, after a while she considered this is right, because in fact she never received the item, so she don't know it, so she shouldn't write about it. Instead she asked me (as a gift receiver) to write a review on it. 3. Now my part : I love my sis very much, always been a good bro, so I tried to do what she asked for. Then surprise : in my Order History there is NO trace, that I was given a gift ! How can I write a review, when MP doesn't know, that it sent me an item ? I tried to open an item page and write the damn review directly there, without going to my Order History. I'm sorry I did that - it only caused more frustration : I was informed, that I have to buy an item first, then I'll be able to review it. Is this a madness or what ? Conclusion. Is there anybody who knows how to resolve this ? I mean SL and MP users : I don't even count on somebody from LL. I'm too old avi to NOT know this.
