  1. That was the first thing I thought of, but the fitted mesh changes shape depending on the avatar shape, and moves depending on the physics. The prim doesn't. I guess as it is only emitting particles that small size/movement changes wouldn't be too obvious, but it will be noticable with bigger changes. I may have to revisit this idea though and just create a best fit.
  2. Thanks. I did try a couple of work-arounds before it started to become apparant that with fitted mesh, SL seems to force a geometric centre in line with the avatar centre. I am trying to create an item (that must be fitted mesh) that uses particles which appear from a certain location on the body. Particles will only rezz from the geometric centre of an object. Hence my dilemma. Starting to think it's impossible, but then there is an item on marketplace that seems to have managed to get round this problem. So there is a solution, but I can't figure it out.
  3. Is there any way to change the geometric centre of a fitmesh item either in blender before export or once imported into SL? I am using blender v2.75. Thanks
