I too, am a dog lover & have an intrest in RL like going to dog shows & events. I have yet to find anything remotely close in SL. If it sounds like it might be, it usually has turned out to be some sort of adult fetish/kink place. Let me know if you find anything. Yeah, I know, I wasn't any help & I;m sorry for that but an extra pair of eyes is never a bad thing when searching!

i had to re rez my house because the floor texture got deleted by accident. When I did, some furniture was missing. One item, a bed, wasn't mine & it didn't go back to the owner's inventory either. Is there a way to find out where it went? Thank you for any help or advise. Kyoki

I was given a sail boat from a friend & I haven't a clue how to sail it! I was told I need to go to the Blake Sea but I hear they are pretty close to what has to be done in RL. to sail correctly. I figured if I can get some lessons somehow, that would be the best way to start. Thanks in advance for any help!

If say, I'm renting an entire sim, can I have different radio stations set in different areas(parcels) on the sim? Like if I were to build a resort on it. I wouldn't want the same music in the dinning room that's playing in the night club etc. Is this possible? Sorry if this is an obvious one. Forgive me, I'm pretty new to this. Thanks for any info!

Nerdgirl64, I agree with all you had to say about SL Friendship. They are all very open & inviting. I was one of the contestants on their first game show. It was fun even if some of the answers to the questions were stretching it a bit! The comments tossed out were entertaining to say the least! It's my first & so far only group I am in. A good group of fun-loving, genuine people!:smileyvery-happy:

Where I have had my home set to since I started SL has now changed owners. I can't seem to figure out how to re-set it & keep getting tossed! The only thing I could think to do is just log in to the last location & that can prove to be awkward at times.... Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!

I don't mind spending some & after reading a lot of these questions in the forum, I know more than I thought I did. Everybody here is very knowledgeable & helpful. Just wait, I will have a "killer" avi!

Thank you Ariel! Now that you mention it, I DO have a style card! A friend said they would make me an avi so I didn't go around looking like a "noob" even though I was/am! Does that mean I can say take out the eyes & replace with different ones etc? I hope so! I may not be as ignorant as I thought! LOL!

Alas & alac! I am destined to be nothng but average & of lesser quality. Actually, I like my avatar. I just want to tweak the face a tiny bit. Thank you for your honesty. I think you are right.

The problem with what you just said is I have no idea how to use parts! I DID buy a skin but I haven't a clue on what to do with it! I even made a copy of what I have (so I didn't destroy me!) Boy! Was that ever scary! After that, I just thought I would be smart & just get a complete Avi. It's easier & less frustrating for someone as impatient as me!

That's where I get lost. Which is why I just wNted to get a complete Avatar. Also, do I want to get mesh or can I even get anything other than mesh now? This stuff boggles my brain & makes me tired! Thank you for replying!

I'm looking to purchase a complete new avatar & was wondering if anyone could reccommend a brand that makes a nice complete one. Right now i have an R Icelli that is ok, better than what I had when I opened up an account. I want to edit her face more than is possible. I'm not all that savy on building one on my own so I thought I'd come ask here. I've gotten great advice on everything else. Looking forward to hearing from everybody. Thank you!

I haven't been on very long or very much because I just seem to go through the listings & there's either one thing or another that I'm not sure of. It isn't easy for me here & I am actually a very out going person! I think it might be because of all I have heard about that goes on in SL! But actually, I know it's all up to each individual. It's getting started so I figured I'd come here & see how others felt. Looks like I'm noy alone! LOL! Eri Snoodle, is that what it is? Nobody talks except to their friends? Also, depending on the rating of a place, maybe that too? I don't know it's all so new but I'd like to see what's out there. (It's even crazy for me to go to change my outfit since I don't have a home or know how to go about any of that! I'm a hot mess!!):smileyvery-happy:

I'm not exactly sure which forum to post this question in so that should tell you how new I am! Anyway, when I open my map, I don't have a legend on the side of it. I think there was at one time (I haven't been on for a few months) Oh, I use Firestorm viewer if that helps anybody figure out what I've done! Thank you for any help or suggestions!
