This is a recent development, there haven't been any updates to my viewer (Firestorm 6.6.14) that caused this change, and after asking around to some friends they've also recently starting having the same experience. From what I'm told, it's a similar experience across different versions of different viewers. When we log-in, we're hovering. Flight isn't activated, we're just.. hovering. The moment we move, we drop back to the ground/floor and life carries on as normal. I think I recall this used to be a thing some years ago but it's been so long I can't rightly remember. It's not a problem or utterly game-breaking, but it's a change we've noticed and I'm just looking for the 'why', if that information is out there.
