  2. Hi I am a 3D artist looking for work. I have a lot of experience in modelling for different games( I have over 5 years modeling experience) and I was hoping to make some linden. I'm familiar with almost all aspects of 3D design and have shipped a title in the past. I'm not really interrested in running my own store since I like to focus on creating things.   3. How can I tell if I'm using a 32 bit texture? I've tried png, tga and jpg formats with no difference. I've applied the material with the normal map to a cube prim and it is working correctly, maybe it's a problem with the exported mesh and not the normal map texture? If it were the mesh I don't understand why the problem would only exist once a normal map is applied. Is there a way to preview the mesh with the entire material(not just diffuse) before uploading?
  4. Hi, I'm having trouble applying a normal map to a mesh in second life. I have baked the normals to a texture inside of blender. In blender and other 3d software the normals appear fine. The mesh behaves normally in the second life viewer until I put a normal map on it. At this point some of the face normals flip. Here is an example of what's going on. [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/OUun2JG.jpg[/IMG] Am I doing something wrong? Edit: Solved, Had to change the alpha mode on the diffuse material.
