Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone could help with adding several materials to one mesh model in second life. I don't see any option to do so, and all I can find on t he subject on the wiki is - https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Mesh/Uploading_a_multi-face_mesh which is 4 years out of date and misses out just about every relevent step needed for uploading and so on. Also, select face doesn't seem to work on uploaded meshmodels. Can anyone give me a quick run down if this is possible? Note - I mean sub object materials/multi materials, not uv maps/specular/bump etc. Thanks in advance Evelyn

Thanks Rolig, I have the basic skills as a 3ds max developer, and have plenty of creation experience, but I was wondering if you can upload models/buildings made here to Second Life? Or do you simply have to use the tools in second life for creation? If you can upload, both to your own place and also ot the market place, how? Thanks for the links but I can't really find what I am looking for. I'll check out the Brewery and see what I can learn there Thanks! Evelyn

Hey guys, I have tried to look through the knowledge base but I can't find anything at all on how to create your own home or any of the objects within, i.e. furniture, or how to upload them, or what format they must be in. The only useful looking page seems to have been deleted so I am stuck! Can anyone point me in the right direction from start to finish? Thanks in advance Evelyn
