  1. Hey those ZLT files you sent seem to be corrupt. Is there anything else out there by chance that you know of. Or a way you think I could find more, or others?
  2. Oh! Okay, ahaha. Now I see what you mean by critters. I was thinking maybe you meant something like that, I just wasn't too entirely sure. Yes! I shall certainly do so! Your idea's on pricing I may just acctually do, that's a great idea. I don't feel my skins are worth 1k just yet. Possibly my next one now that I know what I'm doing, Lol. Thanks so much you've been a GREAT help.
  3. Oh my goodness thank you both greatly. That's some great advice. I'll do the demo linking now. I didn't know that was possible . I appreciate you showing me! Not sure what you mean by "critters" Leprekhaun, But I'm sure I'll find out soon enough. Thank you!!!
  4. That's a good thing to mention and point out, I fixed that right away. Thanks for mentioning!
  5. Hello Aquila! That is some really great feedback! Even if there all negative it exactly what I needed to hear. I was never to sure if my shadows were too intense! So I'm extremely glad you mentioned. It's tricky in SL, including with all the lighting types, lol. All your feedback will only push me to do better, and work harder. I want to give the best to all of you! I'll be working on my advertising, I just recently took an intro class in it so I think I'll be able to do much better now that I did. I didn't even notice the water and how it would appear that way to others! I'll have to watch out for things like that when taking photography.
  6. I don't own a inworld store just yet. Many told me to make the shop first in the market to see how it goes. I should have a Demo! I hope your able to see it. Is this link working? Maybe that's one of the many problems if your unable to see or find it. Fable Demo Skin If that link doesn't work that's ok, at least I would know that it hasn't been working or can't be found. And ok that's a good idea, I can certainly do that with the 'more photos'. Thank you and thank you again! I'll keep that in mind when creating. Always happy to hearing more feedback, I can never have enough.
  7. That's some great feedback, I appreciate your input highly, so thank you! It's interesting how you mention her interpretation of theme in your mind, something I'll keep in mind for the future when I advertise. Do you think height is important to mention? The body shape is modifiable. Then the hair is not included but I do have style notes at the bottom of the "details" section in the marketplace. Would it be better to use style cards? (not sure how to make those yet) Quantity is not limited.. I don't believe, if you mean how many can purchase the skin. Maybe this image would help for a closer view of the face (even though it's not the skin product, I should probably put more face shots next time) Face Closeup Thanks again! I hope to hear more feedback from others as well, but I'll certainly keep all you said in mind.
  8. Hello everyone, I had a couple of questions regarding skins. I'm a bit new (had the account and tried it out for a month but had to go off to college and just came on break to work again and learn about SL :matte-motes-big-grin-squint: ). So getting down to business and straight to the point. 1) I've created two skins so far (first attempts in SL) I there have been many viewers who try the demo, but not really buy the skin itself. The problem is, is that I just don't know what I'm doing wrong (or right). Maybe my legs look weird, or my stomach looks odd and needs to be a different type, or the face looks odd (I don't know). Is it the shadows, or lighting? I wish I had some feedback or insight from others and it would be a wonderful gesture if I could hear some (or even see some reviews in the demos from those who do buy those). What am I doing wrong? What does it take, and what do I need to do. I'm hoping I did everything right and that no one is getting freebies through the main skin without paying or demos.. Being new I wouldn't know everything, but assume I did everything properly in terms of setting everything up in the shop. I want to reach the level that all the pro's are at, and I know many of you have been around for a long time to get your name out there. I don't know the best ways possible to get known out there if my skin was possible 'decent'. Here's a link to my second skin that I've ever created: Click here Opinions? Thoughts? One skin offers many skintone types, so it's not just that one. 2) Is there a faster method to create perfectly seamless skins (which I found to be a MASSIVE pain in the bum, of course..) because I use the gimp/ photoshop way. Surely there must be an easier way to make those seams disappear other than going relentlessly back and forth from gimp to SL to fix and adjust. So that begin said.. Is there is a video that shows how paint directly onto a SL avatar in Zbrush out there somewhere? I'm not sure if that's even possible, I would think it is, but honestly I don't have any idea on how to go about it (the where to find the avatar mesh to upload to Zbrush and then how to start painting on it kind of video). Anything would be great really. 3) Would any of you be able to offer advice on what the best lighting would be for when your creating a skin too? What would be the best to work in possibly? I think I have an idea but I thought it would be good to hear from others. Thanks everyone in advance :matte-motes-smile:
