  1. My scripts work slightly different, in the sense that there's no HUD involved and the mesh will acquire new vector data from the original mesh via touch. This would essentially eliminate the need to scale for fitting something on another mesh to an extent since it would adapt through the script. I had a lot of prim outfits I cannot wear with my current setup anymore and it dawned on me to give this a try for mesh clothing that can be used instead of appliers.
  2. Actually, I did manage to build a script to resize objects already. In fact I wouldn't have come here as a last resort for some direct assistance on relaying data between scripts had I not looked all over already. Thanks for the concern, but I'm not that clueless.
  3. Thanks for the input, very much appreciated by the way! I've got some degree of knowledge with 3D modeling and animation so rigging itself isn't an issue. I'll be doing more tests with this to see how it'll work out.
  4. Yeah, I've been playtesting with two scripts that act as a control and listener and have been getting the hang of the sort of thing involved. It's not a rigged mesh since it's static, though what kind of problems would arise from applying a script to one? Is it that detrimental to weights?
  5. Hi there! I have finally decided to take on LSL so I can make custom clothing for mesh attachments. The thing is I have looked everywhere online to see how I can affect an object through another but I've had no such luck. Having a HUD was considered for the sort of thing I had planned but if I could have a simpler means to adjust a mesh it'd be fantastic. Essentially what I'd like is to know the proper procedure to get the source object's scale and apply it to the target object. Any possible guides you may know of for this sort of thing would be amazing too, cause I'd love to get into making outfits after all this time. <3
