I went to the newbie galaxy and got new clothes and hair and all kinds of stuff. When I tried to put them on and adjust hair n whatnot...everything just got all f'd up. Im wearing a shirt that i didn't buy, my old hair shows thru my new hair...jus all jacked up. I just logged out cuz no one talks to me and I know no one there. You guys tell me to add you as a friend or find you and talk to you n whatnot, I am new.......I have noooooooo clue how to add a friend, find a friend or anything. When I say im new, i mean....i sit n stare at the screen without a clue on what to click on or do. If you want to find me in game and try to walk me thru stuff, KoutaFox is me.

Thank you all for your responses. Since I am new and have no idea how anything works on the "game", it gets quite frustrating when you have no friends or know anyone that can help you "in game". As far as connection issues, I have the best that is offered in my area...Verizon Fios 85/35 direct wire desktop pc. I do a malware and antivirus check and clean at least once a week. I posted my video card stats and basic pc stats, although it isn't extreme high end it is a decent desktop and runs all PWI games and Guild Wars 2 with excellent quality and speed. I do understand though that having a game downloaded and installed is different than 100% streaming. Also had a problem yesterday, I try to visit "hot spots" to find people and something to do and possibly make friends or something but kept getting "kicked and banned" from regions. Basically all I was doing was visiting dance places and hanging out listening and watching people "chat". After about 15 mins or so, BAM kicked back to a what i assume to be start town or something and when I try to return, banned. I have no in game money nor do I plan to buy any in game points or money at this point. I just started and until I decide its something I want to continue with, my money stays in my pocket lol. Just seems rather slow and cumbersome to find friendly people and to find a place where people actually "speak". My opinion of the game so far is....its a fairly large chat room with music to listen to, as long as you can keep from getting banned for no apparent reason.

I am new, of course, and have had many issues thus far. Such as, appearance changing of skin pigment, hair color, hair style...really anything to do with skin, hair and face. The load time of any movement and graphics are beyond 20th century dial up speeds and most of the time my avatar just keeps moving on its own, until finally almost a minute later the screen will flash back to where you originally released the arrow key(s). Also I have walked and flown around for over an hour and found no more than 10 people total, none of which "talk" and only a couple that "chat". Has Second Life all but ended? Does anyone actually play this anymore? Windows 7 64 bit Pro ATI Radeon HD 6450 DDR3 8gig RAM DDR3
