I was entertaining the idea of starting a modeling agency, but I didn't want it to end up being the sort of scammy, defunct agencies that I've seen pop up all over the place. Ideally, I'd want to create a partnership with fashion designers- I provide additional advertising for you designers, and in exchange a few lucky models can take part in a photoshoot or something for your brand. Maybe once the funds are there, we could work out trunk shows or magazines or fashion shows, all with the intention of getting more customers to notice your brand. But I'm coming back to Second Life after a hiatus, so I might not be in with the times. Is such an idea even plausible these days? Or has the fashion industry moved past inworld modeling? Would you designers even be interested in working out a deal like this? I would not want to waste the time/lindens/effort for naught... I'd love to hear what anyone has to say. The idea has simply been bouncing around my head, and additional voices would make this a lot easier.
