I asked a question about putting an island on a piece of land which was underwater and got a great answer but now I have other questions. :-( How can I put grass and/or sand on this island? Right now it looks like an asteroid. I'd like to put grass on most of it with sand around the edges. I'd also like to reshape the island a bit not just make it bigger or smaller. I recently bought an oddly shaped piece of land which is entirely under water. I want to build an island in about 2/3 or 3/4 of it. How do I do this? I have tried edit terrain but it only makes a mess and the land won't rise above the water level. A friend did build an island but it was gone a few days later, so I now have a house which is in the water. I've tried the Select Land tool but it doesn't work. I'd like to make the island as realistic looking as possible, not a flat rectangular concrete slab. I recently asked a question about auctions and got a very good answer so I figured I'd try again with this. Is it possible to actually discuss it and not just settle on an answer or two?

I've been trying to bid on land but I get immediately told that someone has overbid me! I find the bid was done a few hours ago. What is going on?? It appears as if the process is rigged. If someone did do a higher bid a few hours ago why am I being allowed to bid lower only to be told that my bid isn't winning because someone has bid L$10 more each time?
