DISCLAIMER: No, this isn't my main account. No, I'm not trolling. No, I'm not one of those people who habitually complain about LL or think the game's 'dead'. BUT... I honestly am stunned at how cumbersome and downright appalling the SL interface has been this year. First off, they revamp the viewers with this new chat box function. As a result, I now find that if there's local chat, I literally cannot type in a separate window / notecard / group chat. As soon as local chat pops up, it sucks my typing in by default. Hell, I can't even move when local chat pops up - it freezes up any action on the screen. I've found absolutely no way around this. Then location-based linking doesn't work. Meaning that if anybody links to an interesting sim, I have to log inworld, then run a search (which rarely comes up, because the search function is more like lucky dip). I find this baffling - how on Earth could LL overlook this? Why is it that I'm struggling more to do anything simple on V3 in 2013 than I ever did in 2010 with V2?? And now, I find that attempting to pick up some freebies on Marketplace, I can't even do that - I get an error notice saying "Unable to amend your invoice"?? I have Lindens in my account, it's never been a problem before - I seriously can't spend Ls on MP now, or even score some 0L items? AFAIC, the above nonsense is really sucking the enjoyment out of SL - in fact, this is how I imagine it must have been in 2003, in the game's most 'primitive' phase. I know it's pointless contacting LL or submitting a JIRA, they don't really listen (or have time to), but can't someone fix these messes? Does anybody think these changes are actually good???
