Thanks for all the help guys, I finally got it done but I had to move to 4 different regions before it would stay changed. Every time I changed it, it went right back to the new group even tho I was in very quiet area. I finally went to a sandbox & it stayed changed. At least for now. It's really great to see people reading the first post, staying on topic, and being helpful. I haven't seen much of that here so I usually avoid the SL forums. Keep posting, we need more members like you here.:matte-motes-smile:

Thanks but it didn't work, either because I'm using a Mac or because I hate cordless crap so I'm using a cheap-ass keyboard to replace the one that came with my computer.

I joined a group today and now the group name is displayed above my avatar with my user name. How can I get rid of the group name? I would rather show my own group's name than one I joined just to get updates from.
