  1. Regardless of which freebie / low-cost image program you look at for logos and banners... Make SURE it works with creating layers and alpha-masks. You need that capability to do even basic IDs and compositions. If that wiz-bang, must-have! cheepie paint program doesn't offer those necessities? RUN!! And go for something like Paint.net which is FREE and does cover those basics.
  2. From that image you provide? It shows that you are not using the supplied 'Alpha-Layer' at all. You may have chosen to *wear* the Layer, but if you later add another Alpha Layer (say for a pair of shoes) it will cancel out the first Layer you have on. Unless of course you choose to ADD your alpha-layers and not just WEAR them. So be sure the Alpha-layer for your top is high-lighted in the Inv. listing. If it is not...then re-ADD that layer to your AV and watch those pups come into better compliance.
  3. Along with the other suggestions... Go to Preferences... Graphic settings... and confirm that your Basic-Shaders tickbox is checked. Depending on your graphics and system, certain settings in the shader-area can actually REMOVE the chroma information from the textures and skin you have baked on. Also, do a test and remove any 'tattoo' layers to see if that has any effect on your local monitor. The Goddess
  4. While #6 holds the most promise? You're not addressing the strongest point of the entire Avatar search: those EARS! :matte-motes-bashful-cute-2: If LAQ can't accommodate you there? Buy your skin and start your 'ear hunt' and make it as seamless as possible to blend into your look. Make sure to get a hair-style which doesn't block them from view (at least on one side). Ha!
