I have a question thats been dreading me for a long time now, i think i figured out but i just wanna make sure that this is the problem. I have a GTX 570. As you know the 570 only has 1.2g of memory. What i usually do on my pc is use skype everyday, youtube or random surfing on firefox, and im also kind of a hardcore gamer. I usually try to play 2 games at the same time for example, Second Life and Battlefield 3 because sometimes im afk and i simply alt tab from a game to the next but ive been getting a black screen when i alt tab from a game to the other and GPUZ tells me its my gpu memory being fully used up. I even overclocked it a bit, but still when i try to play 2 games or even just SL it uses my gpu's full memory. I thought it was the processor or maybe the ram but now i know its the GPU. So my question is....should i get a lets say GTX 670 with 4G of memory ? because if you think about it, with more memory in the video card i should be able to play SL along with another game and have no black screens or horrible FPS when i alt tab from one game to the other ? just wanna make sure thats the problem. Btw im only using one monitor 1920x1080.
