Thanks, Amethyst. That sounds like good advice. I was able to get a good number of them working, but some are just broken and need replacing.

Is this becoming an increasing occurance in SL? It's pretty wild to lose all your HUDs in an instant...and then try to reconstruct or replace them.

Are there any ways to repair the broken HUDs, short of replacing them?

Hi everyone, I am very distraught since for some reason ALL of my HUDs were broken at one point when I was exploring Heterocera Atoli. I do not know if this was some sort of attack by some hdden avi who just wanted to make my life miserable, or some technical glitch. I had to replace all the HUDs....major pain in the ass. Do griefers have the ability to do this kind of damage? How can one protect oneself? Thanks! Amanda

As opposed to changing the alpha transparency...

Not that I know anything about mesh, why does it have to be saved in a format without alpha?

And it should be relatively easy to fix?

Hello, I am not sure if this is the right place to post this question as I am not a creator, but simply someone who purchased an item, and would like to get some help and feedback with a product. I recently purchased a pair of mesh breasts by probably a new creator, and really liked the shape as they are more naturalistic than some of the very popular ones like the Tangos. At this time I would prefer not to include the name of the product or creator. I tried contacting the creator several times, to no avail, therefore this seems like the only other place to turn to. The strange issue is this: the breasts have fuzzy edges and fit well over the avatar; however, the left breast is visible through the right breast, if you are looking at the avi from the right side. Nothing else is visible through this right breast, which is curious, except, like I say, the other half of the mesh. When you switch angles, moving to the left side of the avi, , you see that the other breast is opaque and nothing shows through, which is the way it should look. I don't understand how a single mesh could have variable transparencies depending on the angle. I don't know if there is anything I could do to correct this....if even a 3rd party would be able to look at it and determine what the issue is. The only reason I persist with this, is because it is a very good-looking product, and if the creator were a bit more helpful, s/he would probably have a big market success.
