Think I have looked just about everywhere in my account but don't see where is the post listing that my quarterly payment is posted as having been made and is up to date. Where can I find this information in my account, please?

I am aware that when a new group is formed that it appears in the SL search engine, but I wonder if there are any other ways that we can get the message out there to people who might be interested in joining us?.

Excuse me if I sound technologically rchallenged,... it is only because I am. I can't find instructions for updating on Windows 8. Just abouit everything else but not windows 8. What's up with that? Am I supposed to use the Windows 7 update and back up instructions? I'm afraid I'm clueless and could use some advice. I don't dare use the windows 7 update on my windows 8 machine because I don't know if the result will be very, very, BAD. Can some samaritan advise me? Thanks in advance to any who care to advise me on this issue.

Tuesday June 11, 6:46am SLT I tried to log on to SL this morning and got the following message, " Log in failed, Unable to connect with a simulator". I tried resetting my location but crashed while still baking. I am a newbee and adimttedly not savvy regarding SL lingo; but, I am wondering if this has something to do with either 1- the fact that I rented an apartment yesterday and the sim has in some way failed me (it was slow rezzing the sky box last night but not slow to bake my avatar) -or- 2- the fact that there are expected to be "rolling restarts" (whatever that is) today as reported by the SL team? I'm quite confused by all this and would apreciate some input from some more experienced SLers.
