I bought a sliding door script and placed in the contents of a door so the door automatically slides. But I've run into a problem. The door now is stuck open. I tried to edit the door to delete the script, but because I now can't even see the door, I can't. How can I find out what scripts are running on my parcel and then kill the script in question? Thanks in advance.

Happened again today. Not my building but an object that I"m the creator and owner. Object disappeared. Not sure what to make of it.

Things are okay now as mentioned, I ended up buying the same building that had disappeared. The other couple of things that were missing, I had a copy in my inventory so just re-rezzed them. I knew that building had truly disappeared as I have a basic prim counter and that showed the lower amount with the building gone.

I'm a premium member. With the space and prims allowable, I have a building (not one that came with premium membership) and items in the building. When trying to go the the building, the building was gone as in disappeared. The building as well as a couple of other objects. The building wasn't owned by me as it was owned by a landlord when I was renting his land and building before I bought the land from him. I was able to recover by just buying the same building on my own and rezzing that. I thought maybe he decided to delete the building and as a result, the building was gone. But that wouldn't explain why also a couple of items that I own also disappeared. Is items mysteriously disappearing from land a common thing? What would make this happen? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the helpful explanations. Once an owner deeds land to a group, I assume there is no turning back? As in can't revert back being the sole owner again?

I recently dipped my toe in the water as for setting up a building for a group which I had created before, and last night bought the land that the building is on (was previously renting). A concept/term that I've come across is "deeding land to a group". Can someone explain to me why one would want to deed land to a group and the pros vs cons? Am I missing someone out if I do not or would that just add a level of complexity? Thanks in advance.

I ended up buying the land from the landlord that my adult themed office is on. He refunded my previous rent payments so pretty much is as if I had bought the land from the start. All is good. I am now a land owner! 😉

Hi, Hope I'm using the terminology correctly. I apologize if not. Recently, I rented land to put up a small adult themed office. The office fits in a 1024 area. I'm happy except for the weekly rent due which arrives fast. Now, I'm thinking, would I be better off as far as L$ by buying land and putting the office there? More specifically, is that allowable only using the land size permitted with premium? My understanding is with Premium membership, I get permission to get 1024 area included. I can get a house but has to be in a rated M area, not adult. Can I though, decline the house and instead choose to just get land in an Adult area to place my 1024 size office? If so, I'd think that I won't need to pay either the tier (as 1024 is included with premium) nor the weekly rental fee that I now pay. Correct? Thanks in advance for your answers.

Good tip. I think in the case, I adding the padding on my tush and also a running AO that leaned forward more. Thus, splitting my pants when moving 🙄. The shorts I wore came with the Jake body.

Are mesh clothes set for a certain body size? Or are they supposed to stretch to fit? On my new Jake body, I put on the mesh shorts that came with the body. Seems to work fine when walking, running. I decided to add some more padding on my tush. Now when running, with each jogging step, part of my bun shows 😁. Funny, but not what I intended. I did compensate using alpha cuts. But I'm curious about the mesh fit question after adding just a little padding to my body. Unfortunately, I don't have a photo to illustrate because this only happens when I"m in motioning, running.

Thanks for the heads up. I see what you mean. I have a non bento animation from my previous avatar but the fingers are still splayed. I went ahead and went to a place called Tutty Bento and picked up a freebie (sit, walk, dance) animation. Nothing fancy but no longer splayed fingers 🙂. I may go and get one of the other walk animations from them though as I like a walk more with hands out of pockets.

Hi, Just as a follow up, I decided to use what I learned here (thanks again!) and last night tried again with my original Jake body/Logo Head combo. Ended up quite happy with the result. The look is more of what my non-mesh avatar looked like, just better now 🙂. The BOM automatically handled the head/body color match well. Plus I even was able to get the neck seam less noticeable.

I went ahead and followed your instructions step by step (yay!). This is a great starting point for me. I do like how with BOM I avoid having to use the alpha layers and skin appliers. Thanks to everyone for all their tips and suggestions. They were a big help!

I'm trying to along with the instructions but where to I TP to go get the Clef de Peau gift skin? I tried to follow the Free LeLUTA Head thread but only see conversations, not an actually TP link or anything. NOTE: Oh, I joined the Clef group and got the TP location. 🙂

I can't find much at Stray dog. All I see is a small stand (shown to the left of me, I"m in the red shorts) and there's about 6 head skin models to choose from. I didn't see a clear Lelutka Evo tag but looking in the inventory there is Letlutka. As for the body skins, I get lost in the store. All I see are signs with faces and appliers and to the left of me are a couple of skin appliers. Think I may need someone to drag me around the store to find stuff or at least someone please show a picture of what I'm too look for. Otherwise, I'd be stuck in a maze. I asked in open chat where is the skin demo and nobody replied. On the bright side, I did get my BOM head to look okay with Lewis' suggestion. I didn't click on the face icon early, only on the Bakes on Mesh label.

I want to make sure I understand this correctly. So, right now I have a Belleza Jake and a LeLUTKA Alain. If I got to a store like Stray dog, I'd get the demo for Belleza Jake, but the do I look for 1) a demo head for LeLUTA Alain or 2) any head with the Lelutka Evo tag If (1) and they don't carry an Alain, then I'd probably need another head to make things work or wait and hope they eventually get an Alain. No prob. I misunderstood and thought you got a Signature head as well. As for my mesh avatar situation, since I'm still learning (though I did actually buy the Jake body and Logo head as thought I was ready to create), now I may go the BOM route instead. Not 100% sure but would be nice to not have to concern myself with alphas and appliers. So, I get a free BOM LeLUTKA head, the Jake BOM HUD and tried. First attempt not good as looks like I have the system avatar skin. But now I'm confused as to how and where to get a skin that works for my LeLUTA head and Jake Body. Assuming I get BOM to work. What am I looking for? a BOM skin? A skin that matches my head's name? An all in one type skin that matches my head's name and the Jake body? Puzzling to me as I don't expect I'd got to a store inworld and run into a display showing skin for Jake Body and LeLUTA Alain head. I've included a picture of my try (if can be called that still with system avatar skin).

While we are on Gianni here's a total simple question that hopefully you can answer. To get around that neck issue with my Jake body and Logo head, I thought about just using a Gianni (either of the two guys, bulky or not) body and head since the head is built for the body (no neck seam). But using looking at the HUDs' beard settings. I didn't see away to have no beard? Is that true? I was surprised to see no option to have no facial hair.

Thanks for the various suggestions thus far. So much to learn. I will have to tinker around a little more later with the suggestions(can't at this moment....darn RL getting in the way with SL) like the Apricot neck fit and alpha cuts. I know alpha cuts is part of my body's HUD.
