The game window screen is split down the middle 50/50, half is gray, half is white, very strange. It won't load any farther and I half to pull up the task manager to get it to close out.

So how do I know if the laptop I choose next won't have this same problem? The 730M was on the list of compatible graphics chipsets.

I'm concerned about buying another laptop as I was just barely able to get this one returned twice lol. After searching the forums here it seems this is a fairly common problem. I don't want to get stuck with a laptop that won't play SL. I was looking at this one with dedicated GT 635m. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834312432

There is no option in the BIOS to disable the integrated GPU.

This same issue has been happening to me with a new laptop. nVidia GT 730M and the SL only wants to use the integrated Intel HD graphics. If I use the nVidia control panel to force SL to use the nVidia graphics, the game fails to load. I at first thought it was a hardware problem with the laptop but after exchanging the laptop with a new one, it still does the same thing.
