Instructions on how to change the viewer used to load slurls [Windows 7 64bit Tested] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Open regedit ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\secondlife\DefaultIcon modify the "Value data" for the "Value Name" "(Default)" according to your viewer. ex: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Nirans Viewer\Nirans Viewer.exe" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\secondlife\shell\open\command modify the "Value data" for the "Value Name" "(Default)" according to your viewer. ex: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Nirans Viewer\Nirans Viewer.exe" --channel "NiransViewer" --settings settings_NiransViewer.xml -url "%1" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *Note* These examples only work for Nirans viewer, change it according to the name of your desired viewer, may take a couple times to get it right.
