Yet second like doesn't seem all that well on my computer (runs well enough for me though). What is it exactly about SL that brings many computers to their knees? Is it just badly optimized (which I can't believe, I'm sure LL has some decent programmers there)? Or maybe it has some old tech that doesn't work well on certain computer. As a person who is currently learning how to program, it would be interesting to know the real reason for this. (P.S. Please don't tell me to upgrade my comp. I not into PC gaming, and I can deal with the lag in SL because I use it more of a social platform than traveling and sight seeing. The point of this topic is to ask why SL takes a lot of computing power to run smoothy).
