Mattism Darwin

So ever since there was some issues last week with logging in system wide I have been unable to log in to SL. My login screen gets stuck at "Requesting Regional Capabilities". I have tried rebooting my modem, reinstalling SL, restarting my laptop, changing the region where I log in to etc. Nothing helps. I don't have the technical know how to check firewall stuff so I'm not sure what to do...I just think it's weird that this all started suddenly after the grid was down for a few hours. HELP!
