Thank you so much Steel Jane, I'll give that a whirl here in a bit. This may seem like a silly question, but I think it's actually the 'no-mod' part that got me. I did try renaming using the VAGEST prefix I believe. I figured if no mod animations worked in the hud in other areas, like I can add a no mod dance or a no mod stand animation. What is different about the gesture button if you know. ed. nevermind, I figured it out. If it's no mod, I can't rename it to fit the right format. I think when I tried renaming it, I was renaming an actual gesture to see if that worked rather than renamed an anim.

Well, if you would like help on loading things that aren't supposed to be triggered by the gesture button, I can help. Clearly we can see where I'm at with the button though.

Thank you, to clarify, when I say 'gesture' I'm referring to the 'gesture' button on the HUD which is supposed to trigger an animation, not to the endless prattle of text that embodies a typical SL gesture. Title of article edited.

Hello, Please be kind if this is the wrong place, this is my first forum post. Can someone please help me add new animations for use by the 'Gesture' button to my Vista HUD 5.34*? I've watched the video on Vista's website and followed those directions. Here's what I've been doing: Rez HUD on the ground and open it up Drag the animation that I want to trigger as a gesture into the contents (according to the video I should be good to go at that point, but it isn't working) Edit the notecard 'VA.GESTURES' by adding the name of the new animation Take and wear the newly edited HUD Go to settings within the HUD and load all (there is not an option to load a gesture card) No matter what I do, I cannot get the HUD to recognize the animations that I want to use as a gesture. Also perplexing, when I look at the VA.GESTURES notecard that was included with the HUD, there is a reference to VAGEST007 which references a gesture that isn't in the HUD. Things I've done: Redelivered to make sure I have the most recent version Added the gesture in question to the 'Dance' card, so I can trigger the animation from the hud, but I have to go to dance mode first which interrupts the flow of what ever else I had going on. Pulled out my hair Looked for a CSR in the VIsta store (cause I couldn't find an easy way to get a message to someone. Searched online, including the forums here and also the knowledge database Any help would be greatly appreciated.
