Ive been in your exact position, Sometimes its something you're wearing that screws up your avatar Or It's other factors. I can fully answer your question if you give more details such as What grid you are using and What were you doing before your avatar wasnt working. IF you're using firestorm On the top left hand corner go to "avatar", then "avatar health", Then click "Force Appearence Update".

Okay so I've made this simple tang top on Gimp Which is a painting software similar to PhotoShop, I've watched tons of tutorials on how to upload Mesh onto Second Life but none of them seem to be working. I'd export my file onto my desktop as a *.tga file then when I log onto the grid and try to upload my mesh but I am unable to find any files. I've tried saving it as a *.tga file but through Gimp you can only save files as *.png or *.jpeg so thats why I export them instead. Any suggestions on what I can do to fix this problem? I've already Taken the test and have my payment info on file so thats not the issue.
