Just clicked on a random trad on the land page to see where I landed, and holy crap, it's the Pratt Falls parcel I liked best but was not able to get when the region released earlier today! I have almost a month (till next billing date) to decide if I want to keep it, but what a nice surprise after spending my RL afternoon at the vet with a sick kitty. :)

I got the parcel I wanted in Pratt Falls too . Its the first time I have got the exact parcel I wanted. Pure fluke.  It's such a pretty region with lovely landscaping and flowers. Not keen on the name because it reminds me of the word 'prat' which is a derogatory name for someone in UK slang ☺️ but hey ho, the area is lovely.

I also have a sick pet who has spent her second night at the vet. Newly diagnosed diabetes after collapsing yesterday. She is a husky and was already was on immunosuppressants and previously steroids for a autoimmune disorder. Now this! Poor girl is such a sweet, gentle dog 😪1294016004_WaterfallCottage_002.thumb.png.cfc0fc08e963d62623db3a5b23811298.png

Looks like it's gone now (my houseboat is close enough that I could cam over to have a look).

Yes it had gone before I AR'd it. There was no one around when I was at a neighbouring HB so I assumed that was the permanent position but maybe the owner was disturbed by RL and then came back and put it elsewhere or in the sky. It was  called  'secret cave' but maybe not so secret when sticking out like a sore thumb xD

I just AR'ed something in another houseboat region for the first time last week (it doesn't matter if you live there or not). These links can help! It's pretty easy to do through the viewer:

Thank you for that. Will save me a lot of searching.

  4. I'm not sure how to AR something or even if its my business as I don't have a home here but when out and about was quite shocked to see this. So ugly but also inconsiderate to the people whose homes this monstrosity is above. It covers two houseboats and a bit over a third and also into Linden protected land at the back of the boats. Such a shame in such a pretty area, Siren's Cove.1261276846_Sirenscove_002.thumb.png.6bfea8651d66ab6db29294ef87543867.png1028600789_Sirenscove_001.thumb.png.fd3441ead4bf15ed30e5c479dbc572ca.png

By chance found this incredible store the other week off of someone's blog which has very elaborate and highly detailed furniture.  I had a heck of a time locating it because the blogger referred to it as "C&G" but it's name is actually China.Goodies. I am a very good sleuth.

Creator is an architect and everything is gorgeous but extremely expensive so be prepared. I also loved the shopping experience - feels like walking in a museum. Furniture is old world style French/Italian, lots of collectible type pieces. Victorians loved chachkas and this store is filled with them; great for finding a piece of importance but not for furnishing your home entirely at all unless you live in a palace :P

On the Marketplace also but I do recommend going to the inworld store to see everything in person as the photos don't do them justice.

FYI not so sure how good the creator is about getting back to you if there's a problem, if she's active or not as I wrote her days ago about a piece that had no price on it that I wanted to buy and haven't heard back from her yet so be sure you really want what you are purchasing.

Lovely furniture, thanks for posting the link. Most of it seems to be based on pieces from the Palace of Versailles. I loved looking around as there are so many lovely pieces, but the 'no copy' aspect puts me off a bit. I might buy one or two things as I love them so much but I do tend to lose no copy items.

It's a whole lovely island! I landed a traditional in Conger Reef there as a Christmas present. Definetely a keeper!

Seems a lot of people active in this thread are assembling on this island

... or it's not quite so nice clone in the south with the black mountain.

That is a stunning setting. A keeper for sure. Yes seems quite a few from the forum have homes there now. I sometimes see forum members when I am 'fishing' too. Seems we often are catching the same homes 😊

  7. I remember visiting this when I first came to SL in 2007. Must do a bit of exploring on this. I also remember a big airship (Zeppelin?) we used to go to but I think that has gone. I thought Titanic was an awesome build too, back in the day.

  8. I haven't always felt drawn to the houseboats especially if they are hemmed in by lots of others but this one is at the end plus the views are of open sea. I can only really use the Windlass model though as the others point the other way and there is a houseboat behind me. I haven't experienced much lag here and there seem to be quite a few dots on the map. It's in Lapis region.

  9. At the minute there are loads of lovely campers and houseboats available easily for anyone that wants one. I caught this lovely houseboat earlier with my RL husbands account, it has lovely views of open seas to enjoy and a cute little sandy area with seating which I am going to pretend is my garden ;) I am decorating it at the minute. 1148490028_Lapis2(1).thumb.png.e2e33c22b835ebc5be9636bcf43c7fa9.png1594054521_Lapis2(2).thumb.png.c502cb626295123b9b904e61bf5e766a.png

That five tries a day is plenty for anyone? Play it as a game if you want, but I wouldn't expect LL to swoop in and make any changes to the number of times per day you can go fishing.

Unless maybe they charge extra for additional chances... and that's actually a groovy idea! Cut the number to once a day and then let people pay extra for more chances! Like a carnival game! Now THAT would be fun! $5 per chance, or buy 5 for $20 to get a bit of a deal on them! MOAR REVENUE FOR LL!

I have no problem with 5 times a day. I rarely use my 5. I like to keep a house/ boat/camper and play with it for a while before switching. I was really addressing your point about switching homes not being what Bellisseria was designed for. It felt like a jibe at people who enjoy this side of Linden Homes. Apologies if you did not mean it that way. I just see it as an added enjoyment of Bellisseia.

    ... here comes Debbie Downer...

I know most people in this particular thread look at Bellisseria as a game to be played, but I think some of you are forgetting that that isn't what Bellisseria was designed to be. It wasn't created for people to play a fishing game with the houses as the "catch".

Five times a day is plenty. More than enough. That's 35 new homes a week. 150 in a 30 day month. 1,825 house swaps in a year.

And that's just for one avatar, never mind any premium alts anyone has.

If you can't find something that satisfies you in that many attempts, perhaps you really need to seek a different kind of satisfaction.

I think Bellisseria was designed to attract more people to premium accounts. It has achieved that goal I think.  I also think that beyond that, like SL, Bellisseria is designed to be whatever the residents enjoy (within reason). For some that may be exploring, creating, socialising etc. As long as what someone is doing, doesn't impact adversely on someone else, there shouldn't be a problem. People enjoying house hunting does not impact adversely on anyone, in fact if people didn't post here, no one would even know people were changing homes.

I know right, I never checked this before either, but now I am constantly. It's amazing how high most of the items are in LI

I also find it amazing how low Li some really detailed items are. I don't find it possible to tell just by looking at something whether it will be low or high Li. I'm not a creator so don't really understand why some things that are really detailed and realistic are low Li and other things which look quite simple are high Li.

If you buy the right furniture you should be able to fill up your house to full.  First thing you should invest in is all that bathroom furniture from LAQ Decor, its amazingly low prim if you can get your hands on it.  they had a few other things i'd suggest as well. :)

Thank you. i must have a look at LAQ. I do have curtains from there that are really low Li but I haven't looked there in ages.

    These are beautiful!!

    I am envious!

It just blows my mind that you all can decorate it so beautiful and with SOO much furniture!!

I struggle so much to just get two Items of furniture in....and by the time I do....I have no prims left

Maybe I am just shopping in the wrong stores and buying too much prim heavy furniture

I find it difficult at times too and I am thinking of switching to the Doyle bungalow style Victorian as the Li allowance would be plenty for it. I do find myself constantly checking Li on items now when I go shopping. I didn't really do that before.
