I'm going to assume you understood, or soon will understand, why I find it ironic.
As long as you are also willing to assume I only intended to point out you are wasting precious breath.
Nothing else. Have at it.- 1

Anyone who demands differently is um...hmm..can't think of a nice word for it. 🙂
Caution lion .. Void Singer is still a respected name. I'm almost certain her name is still remembered by many here.

No.
Peeve : Collective amnesia.
She wrote an open letter to LL, stating she would no longer contribute if LL did not bow down from a decision.
She left. LL did not give in.
They won't now. None of us will fair any better than Void in regard to expecting LL to adjust by recognition of contribution.

From yesterday. I am posting this because: 1) I know it will vex and peeve some, and I like to give and contribute. 2) It will confirm the worst in some people's minds, see above about "give and contribute." 3) For me personally, it is the height of irony.
Not peeved or vexed, not playing mind-games either, but do you remember what happened to one of the greatest contributors of this forum, named Void Singer ?

Peeve : Lacking the words myself for that which Phil described so eloquently.
ETA : Afaik this forum offers room for many contrary opinions ( SL related ) , but not for mile long one on one debates running off into oblivion.

Those problems have solutions and, importantly, can be solved one at a time. SL's architecture isn't that bad.
You will never solve this crucial one : hitboxes. SL can never attribute the same speed in processing this crucial aspect to FPS gaming. And this discrepancy is in it's very core.
You know that.

SL is for lovers, not fighters. That's the niche the developers should enhance and improve.
I agree.

Normal gameplay should look that good.
We may have to work on how to keep the pew-pew crowd and the get-off-my-lawn crowd apart.
If you mean by 'get off my lawn' - crowd those that correctly conclude SL will never be a balanced low-latency high frames-per-second multiplayer first person shooter, consider me the latter.
I mean I like pew-pew just as much as the next person, but I don't use SL for that.
ETA : What kind of pew-pew crowd
are youis the video trying to persuade here to come to SL in relation to combat skills ? Those that will be potential professional Counterstrike-players ?- 2
