I decided to give SL another try. I signed up years ago and found the interface to be too confusing and didn't have a desire to learn at the time. Fast forward to present times, a friend talked me into coming back. Mainly because there are other similar programs that I love to create on, and she let me in on a secret that I could be even more creative on SL. Anyways... Making friends seems to be the tough part here. I'm 25 and a furry, from WA State. I put my real life before anything and I'm not much of a roleplayer. I prefer to just sit around and have a nice conversation. I'm married in real life so I'm not really looking for anything outside of being friends. If you see me in an adult room, it's because either I was curious, or, no where else seemed to be very populated. It seems like everywhere I go no one is really talking, and everyone just kind of stands around. I kind of fear rejection so it's hard for me to just speak up and initiate any kind of conversation. I'm not sure what kind of ettiquite there is on SL and I really don't want to tick anyone off by being rude. So until then, I'll just be sitting around, preferably somewhere up high. :cathappy:
