Can someone please tell me what the purpose is on having a votebox on your land? What exactly is it's function?

The Canadian Connection is now hiring DJs & Live Performers. All DJ's and performers hired at The Canadian Connection must be both experienced and at least 30 days old. We are currently hiring experienced DJ's. There is also a one month probation period for all new DJ's. This position is paid by tips only. But they are 100% your tips to keep. Consider the breathtaking natural beauty of Canada in all its majesty, that is the home of our Canadian Connection, situated on a little better than 3/4 of it's own sim :)) The log constructed club offers an expansive interior with a fully loaded dance machine and nicely featured intan for couples. Also within its confines; a challenging mechanical bull and a TCC freebie box found at each end of the stage that keeps growing due to the very generous donations by MACCanix Diesel including his fabulous teeshirts, tanks, and hoodies. Our house DJ ranks have expanded to include all popular genres, each with their unique stylings and fun-filled programs. We keep things relaxed, supporting each other in true Canadian tradition. We also feature live singers and that list seems to grow daily. Impromptu jam sessions are a norm here, much like our famous maritime kitchen parties. We have a lovely church on site ,The Canadian Connection Chapel. We provide non-denominational church services, weddings, baptismals, counselling, all set in a picturesque backdrop, perfect for capturing those magical memories. Want Canadiana, the ever popular TIM HORTONs is right on our sim. Get your daily fix of timbits and coffee. A free photostudio is located in our village mall to the left of the club for your convenience. This quaint mall is home to some wonderful designers including XTC Leathers, Fuddle Duddle Designs, The General Store, Northern Reflections, OD Designs and Hansome Rides. We have gorgeous log cabins for rent. These must be seen to be truly appreciated as they appear to flow from and become part of the landscape. We have an outdoor stage area that is set-up for open air karaoke should you wish to share your talent and/or enjoy others. It is also a staging area for live performances. A movie theater for our members that is constantly being updated with more movies for all to enjoy. Don't forget to grab your free popcorn while you are there ;) A source of pride and a national institution in Canada, the RCMP, is present with an outpost on site that is of course staffed. Up in the air we have a Kraftie platform, set aside to support the continuing development of our second life experience. Plenty of remotes for the club's intan as well as cuddle poses are scattered among the many little seasonal vistas. The walks amongst them is worth the visit alone.
