  1. I wish I could say it was just a bunch of wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff but it is not. On the other hand, I've started digging into the LSL tutorials, as expected, picking it up pretty quickly.
  2. I appreciate all of your replies. Now that I just finished the tutorial at teh Caledon Library (very cool by the way), I am looking into the Virtual Outworlding site that was posted here. I'm not looking for a day job here, but I'm looking for a way to make some of my free time more "productive" so to speak. I also don't mind making new friends.
  3. Good evening, You can call me Sean. I was recommended to Second Life by a few out-of-game friends so I wanted to give it a shot and see if there are any possibilities that my skillset fits into here. As my in-game bio states, I am a 22 year old IT Consultant and Systems Administrator. I have 5 years of out-of-game professional experience with all Windows based operating systems '95 and later, including Windows server and Linux(Ubuntu/Arch) operating systems. I can also setup and configure basic network technologies, though I consider it not a strong skill set of mine. I went to college for Computer programming and Analysis, therefore I am able to provide a intermediate level of programming in languages such as C++, C#, Perl and PHP. I did some reading on the wiki about jobs, and didn't see anything relating to IT work outside of the scripting language, but I figure maybe there is something missing, considering I am new. I look forward to chatting with anyone who can make recommendations on how to get my second life moving forward. Thanks for your time, Sean
