  1. So, I wish had more information to share about this game, however my memory of it is limited. I do not know the name of this game but I remember how it was played. The game was set in a "movie theater" format. There was a large game board in the front, and we all sat in front and payed the board. After payment a small solo board would float to you. The game was played as such: On the large board various shapes that looked like Tetris (I'm pretty sure) pieces. The players would have their own board and would lay the shapes in their boards grids however they wanted. The goal was to make certain patterns with the shapes on your board to score points. The winner would win the rounds pot of funds. The large community board would show the current playable shape in a large area on the screen. It was a game we played a log time ago. Im pretty sure this was played before Slingo was around. It was a popular game back in the mid to late 2000's. No one I know remembers this game. Does this rough description of the game ring a bell to anyone here?
  2. AH! HEY! I GOT IT! as a last ditch effort I just added all four of googles DNSs into my settings. the two numbers for both IPv4 and IPv6. The numbers alone don't work, but if you have all 4 it seems to do the trick! Thanks so much guys! You're all the freakin' best!
  3. Nope. Nothing. I'm still having the exact same issue. I checked the DNS on the older laptop - its the same as the one on this... What am I missing?
  4. ok i've tried both Google's free DNS and the first link. Google's at least kept internet, but didnt fix SL. The first link given just kiled the interwebs. Trying second link. =-(

  7. Hey guys, I'm having an anoying issue over here. I just purchased a newer macbook pro 13", 2.5GHz i5, intell HD4000, 4GB ram When I load up second life, I can get in the game fine, but thats where it all ends. Almost nothing loads. I can't tp anywhere, the region I am in defaults to nothing (even though I know i own the land), friends list wont load, I can't see owners or creators of items (just says loading), and I cant TP. If i try and TP I end up getting logged out. On my older macbook pro (running mountain lion as well) 2.5 GHz core duo, 650M graphics card, 4GB Ram (a lower end computer than what I have now) Everything runs fine, but I cant figure out why! Can someone help me? I have tried uninstalling and even deleting all the second life files left over to try and clean install it - but i get the same problem! What's going on!?
