Hello, first I will let you know that I have never before built anything. I have only played around with it and object settings and features. I have no real experience and no knowledge of the proper terminology for anything construction related. So, your patience and knowledge on the subject is much appreciated. If any rephrasing seems necessary I will do my best to edit the question. But onto it then... Is it possible to make an object appear invisible but still cast a shadow from light sources, particularly the sun and moon. I know that the transparency setting makes an object invisible but at anything greater than 39% the shadow disappears. I have also tried adding an invisible texture and keeping the transparency at 0 but the shadow still cannot be seen. Any response is appreciated. Thank you.
